Every answer carries High, Medium or Low confidence, worked out from how much real data sits behind it. Where the data is thin, we say so rather than guess.

Straight line is included. Upgrade to real road distance or real drive time, worked out on the full UK road network every night.

Closest, measured properly
The nearest by road is often not the nearest on a map.
For one in five UK postcodes, the closest petrol station by road is a different one from the closest as the crow flies. Rivers, estuaries and motorways see to that. Choose how closest is measured, job by job.
